The position includes a comprehensive training program, uniforms, certifications, and equipment provided by the City. The role follows a training period with night shifts and steady, year-round employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; related experience preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Kansas driver’s license and city-insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and perform light maintenance on wastewater treatment plant equipment.
• Collect and analyze samples of water, wastewater and sludge.
• Maintain accurate records of operations, maintenance activities and water quality reports.
• Perform general grounds and housekeeping tasks.
