Tyson Foods in the United States (Georgia plant) seeks a Wastewater Treatment Operator to operate and monitor essential water treatment systems, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. You will collect samples, analyze data, maintain logs, and communicate needs to management.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1+ year wastewater experience preferred, basic computer skills, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks. 3rd shift is involved.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One or more years of wastewater experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills (Word/Excel).
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Basic organizational, mechanical and electrical wiring skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect samples and perform chemical analyses per EPA/state requirements.
• Interpret test results, adjust systems to maintain compliance.
• Maintain logs and prepare reports for permits and management.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform maintenance as needed.
• Communicate system status to management.
• Operate spotter truck and/or forklift as required.
• Support groundskeeping and general housekeeping.
