Job summary

Automation Personnel Services in Greensboro is seeking a Wastewater Technician to join a team with a manufacturing and wastewater treatment background. You will operate and maintain treatment equipment, collect and test wastewater samples, and conduct lab tests to monitor quality and detect contaminants.

Schedule is Monday–Friday 5:00am–4:00pm, with the pay range at $20+ per hour depending on experience. This is a full-time position with potential temporary-to-permanent placement, and APS offers

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Understanding of chemical processes like coagulation, flocculation, and disinfection.
• Proficient in operating and calibrating treatment equipment and sensors
• Analytical skills to interpret test results and adjust treatment processes

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain treatment equipment such as pumps, filters, and disinfection systems.
• Perform routine maintenance on treatment system to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
• Collect and test wastewater samples to monitor water quality and detect contaminants

• Trouble shoot and repair equipment malfunctions

Automation Personnel Services has an exciting opportunity for a Wastewater Technician to join a team in Greensboro. This is a great opportunity for somebody who has a background in manufacturing or wastewater treatment.

Pay Range: $20+/hour depending on experience

Schedule and Hours: Monday–Friday 5:00am-4:00pm
