Job summary

Cavendish Farms is seeking a wastewater treatment operator to support WWTP operations on-site in Jamestown, ND. You will monitor processes, collect samples, perform basic maintenance, and maintain clean lab areas while ensuring accurate reporting of daily data.

The role requires a high school diploma or higher, and 1-2 years of industrial experience or equivalent, with a Biology / Environmental Applied Sciences background.

Qualifications

• Must be able to monitor wastewater treatment processes.
• Experience collecting and analyzing samples.
• Ability to report data accurately and communicate issues to management.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for WWTP operations including process monitoring, collecting samples, performing basic preventative maintenance, cleaning, and reporting any issues or concerns.
• Responsible for specific daily and weekly sample analytical reporting and ensuring any issues/concerns are communicated to management immediately.
• Responsible for reporting all numbers and data on a Daily Summary and WWTP report, and reporting data to Operators regarding WWTP.
• Responsible for conducting extra, miscellaneous daily or weekly testing depending on WWTP Facility performance
• Miscellaneous tasks such as calibrating equipment, doing dishes, filling lab supplies as needed, and cleaning lab on a daily basis
• All employees have an obligation to report food safety and quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate corrective measures
