Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC in North Carolina is seeking a maintenance technician for the biological wastewater system to ensure regulatory compliance and reliable operation. Under minimal supervision, you will monitor equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and report variances.

The role requires at least 3 years in industrial wastewater treatment and 3 years of maintenance experience, a High School diploma, NOCTI Level 1, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• NOCTI Mechanical Level 1 certification required prior to applying.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in industrial/commercial wastewater treatment.
• Minimum 3 years’ maintenance experience in production environment.
• Intermediate math skills and computer literacy.
• Ability to work unsupervised and flexible hours.
• Willingness to comply with PPE and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor mechanical wastewater system equipment (pumps, motors, electrical components).
• Perform routine/ preventative maintenance and report variances.
• Operate dewatering equipment, pumps, compressors, and chemical feed equipment.
• Maintain housekeeping of work area and tools.
• Follow safety policies and regulatory requirements.
