Job summary

Alsco Uniforms in Houston, TX is seeking a Wastewater Maintenance Technician to operate, maintain and repair plant wastewater systems, ensuring safe and effective treatment before discharge into the environment.

You will perform preventative maintenance on pumps, sensors and dosing units, monitor processes, collect samples, troubleshoot failures, and implement repairs promptly while upholding safety, quality and environmental standards; travel to procure parts may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years wastewater experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• English communication skills essential.
• Experience with field maintenance and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor wastewater treatment systems in the plant.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and systems.
• Respond promptly to daily maintenance requests.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
• Collect water samples and perform tests for process control.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
