Job summary

WMFHA is seeking a maintenance technician to keep plant machinery and buildings operating with maximum efficiency and minimal downtime.

Role includes troubleshooting electrical and hydraulic systems, performing scheduled maintenance, operating and servicing equipment, and documenting work orders while upholding safety standards. The position supports production quality and may involve wastewater treatment tasks and physical duties as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable under the Tribe's insurance.
• Must be able to work irregular hours including evenings and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze mechanical and operational problems on equipment and make necessary repairs and corrections to maintain maximum productions quality
• Move, adjust, repair and install new and existing equipment and perform scheduled maintenance on machinery
• Keep plant, equipment, and work area clean and organized
• Maintain safety standards as directed and required
• Operate Wastewater Treatment System as assigned
• Rebuild mechanical and process equipment as assigned
• Process paperwork related to work assignments
• Perform other duties as assigned
