Job summary

ProChem Water seeks a responsible, autonomous operator to safely run a comprehensive wastewater treatment system in Elon, NC. You will work with the account management team to operate, maintain, and optimize the treatment and ion exchange systems designed for industrial pretreatment needs.

On-the-job training and company-subsidized full benefits are provided. The role requires reliability in commuting to the site, safety compliance, and the ability to work with a team as well as autonomously.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor’s degree with a science focus preferred or equivalent work experience plus training.
• Experience in an industrial setting preferred; customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor wastewater treatment and ion exchange systems.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow safety procedures.
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and corrective actions on equipment.
• Collect samples and conduct basic testing to adjust treatment parameters.
• Respond to alarms and communicate with account management team.
• Generate monthly service reports detailing system performance.
