Job summary

Envirolink in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Field Operator to execute water and wastewater services for client facilities. The role involves operating and maintaining systems, coordinating reports, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance on-site in North Carolina.

The candidate will act as Operator in Responsible Charge, perform preventive maintenance, and work with multiple departments to deliver timely tasks. A valid NC driver’s license and English fluency are required.

Qualifications

• US Citizen. E-Verification required.
• No felonies or major misdemeanors.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) to five (5) years of experience in field operations programs.
• Prefer possession of two or more North Carolina water and wastewater certifications.
• Must possess and maintain a valid North Carolina Driver’s License.
• Excellent communication skills required including demonstrated fluency with reading, writing and speaking the English language.
• Good math skills.
• Successful candidate must submit to post offer, pre-employment physical examination/medical history check.
• Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an open, collaborative, team-oriented work environment.
• Act as the Operator in Responsible Charge for water and/or wastewater facilities.
• Coordinate with office team on report preparation for compliance purposes.
• Execute operations and maintenance activities across water and wastewater systems.
• Notify supervisor of outages, compliance issues, or safety concerns.
• Ensure compliance with NC standards for operation and maintenance.
