Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; completion of industrial training or vocational courses preferred.
• At least two years of experience maintaining treatment facilities or related fields.
• Special requirements include CDL-B with Tanker Endorsement; NE Grade 2 Collection System Operator Certificate; NH Grade 1 WWT Operator License (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance on pumps, chlorinators and related equipment.
• Overhaul and repair pumps, gears, bearings, seals and related components; maintain records.
• Operate motorized equipment and vehicles; assist in winter operations and grounds maintenance.
• Maintain complete maintenance records daily; support scheduling and cost control of activities.
• Assist outside vendors for specialized equipment and ensure safety compliance in a municipal setting.
• Provide custodial, grounds keeping and snow removal as needed at treatment facilities.
