Job summary

Center for Digital Governmtent seeks a senior engineer to oversee wastewater operations programs, provide technical guidance, and coordinate grant support. You will liaise with state/federal agencies, manage MAR and capital projects, and help advance WRF and SPS upgrades while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes leadership of a nine-person crew, coordination with grants, and development of performance reports and nutrient tracking across county WRF facilities.

Qualifications

• Requires graduation from an accredited four-year college/university with applicable engineering and program management experience.
• Preference given to candidates with environmental/wastewater program experience and related certifications.
• Experience with wastewater operations and capital projects is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee wastewater operations programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and review monthly DMR submissions.
• Manage MAR, bio-solids facility oversight, and SPS capital project liaison activities.
• Coordinate grant management and support for wastewater initiatives.
• Oversee septage receiving program setup, evaluation, and operation.
• Drive R&D efforts for sanitary collection systems and water reclamation facilities.
• Prepare routine and special reports, including nutrient credit tracking and metrics.
