Job summary

Mead & Hunt in West Allis, WI, seeks a Wastewater Process Engineer to join the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Engineering Team. The role focuses on design, optimization, and deployment of wastewater and renewable energy facilities with national scope.

The ideal candidate will lead technical design, mentor staff, review equipment and drawings, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on project delivery from concept to startup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental/Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college.
• PE license or ability to obtain license.
• Experience with wastewater treatment process design and EPC/Design-Build projects preferred.
• Experience with project development, cost estimates, and reports.
• Willingness to travel 10–20%.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform process design for wastewater facilities.
• Develop calculations, sizing, P&IDs, drawings, specs, and reports.
• Review vendor info, submittals, and shop drawings.
• Provide technical reviews of deliverables and mentor junior staff.
• Support proposals, scopes, and labor budgets.
• Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams and travel as needed.
