Job summary

Mead & Hunt, Inc. is seeking a Wastewater Process Engineer to join our Greenhouse Gas Reduction Engineering Team in West Allis, WI.

You will lead process mechanical design for industrial wastewater and waste-to-renewable energy facilities, and develop detailed process deliverables. The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of experience in wastewater process engineering, a PE license, and strong project leadership.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 6+ years of relevant experience in industrial wastewater treatment or related process engineering.
• BS degree in a related engineering field from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Lead process mechanical design of wastewater facilities.
• Develop process calculations, equipment sizing, P&IDs, specs, and drawings.
• Review vendor information, shop drawings, and submittals.
• Prepare reports, feasibility studies, and process modeling.
• Support project development, scope and labor budget estimates.
• Mentor junior staff and conduct technical reviews.
• Travel 10–20% as needed.
