Job summary

Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized engineering leader, seeks a Wastewater Process Engineer to join our Greenhouse Gas Reduction Engineering Team in West Allis, WI. Lead design of industrial wastewater and waste-to-renewable energy facilities, mentoring staff and coordinating with EPC teams.

The successful candidate will work on cutting-edge wastewater treatment projects, RNG systems, and sustainability initiatives, with opportunities across municipal and industrial sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university.
• At least 6 years of progressively relevant experience in industrial wastewater or related process engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience in design of wastewater treatment and waste-to-renewable energy facilities.
• Experience with EPC, design-build or similar delivery methods is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead process mechanical design of industrial wastewater treatment and waste-to-renewable energy facilities.
• Develop process calculations, equipment sizing, P&IDs, drawings, specifications, and functional descriptions.
• Review equipment vendor information, shop drawings, and submittals.
• Develop deliverables related to treatment process evaluations, feasibility studies, process modeling, and technical reports.
• Review engineering deliverables and mentor junior staff.
• Support project development, scopes, labor budgets, and proposals.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary internal teams and clients.
• Travel approximately 10-20%.
