Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Wastewater Process Engineer to join a team delivering innovative treatment solutions worldwide. You will develop process models, perform design calculations, and apply conventional and advanced wastewater technologies across projects.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in wastewater design, strong communication, and experience with BioWin, GPS-X, Sumo, or Simba#. The role offers hybrid work options and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering (ABET-accredited).
• Minimum 5 years related wastewater treatment process design experience.
• Advanced degree in civil/environmental/chemical engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares complex engineering deliverables: process models, mass balances, P&IDs, design memoranda.
• Supports multiple projects with complex technical challenges.
• Guides project teams in conventional and emerging wastewater treatment technologies.
• Coordinates with internal and external teams for successful project execution.
• Develops life cycle costs and environmental benefits to evaluate treatment solutions.
