Job summary

Black & Veatch seeks a skilled engineer to advance wastewater treatment design across projects worldwide. You will develop process models, perform mass-balance calculations, and contribute to master planning and design criteria.

The team emphasizes collaboration, quality and continuous improvement, with hybrid work options after the first 90 days and employee ownership through ESOP. This role offers a pathway to leadership across diverse wastewater projects globally.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 5 years related wastewater treatment process design experience.
• Professional registration or licensure in home country or active pursuit of such registration.
• Strong written and oral communication; ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepares complex engineering deliverables including process models and P&IDs.
• Supports multiple projects with challenging technical requirements.
• Acts as a technical specialist guiding project teams in wastewater technologies.
• Performs research and testing to inform process models and design decisions.
• Develops recommendations on treatment processes, equipment, and materials.
• Coordinates with internal/external teams for successful project execution.
