Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a lead wastewater process engineer to provide technical guidance on conventional wastewater treatment and related design challenges in Missouri.

You'll lead a process team, supervise project engineers, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver advanced treatment solutions while advancing your career in an employee-owned company with flexible, hybrid work options. The role requires an advanced degree and 11+ years of experience in water treatment.

Qualifications

Advanced degree preferred (Master's or Doctoral) in civil, environmental, or chemical engineering.
11+ years of related wastewater treatment experience.
Active engineering licensure/registration where required.
Pre-employment screening may be required.

Responsibilities

Prepare complex engineering deliverables: process models, mass balance calculations, P&IDs, design memoranda.
Lead process team, supervise engineers on projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Develop and apply treatment process designs and evaluate performance against criteria.
