Job summary

CREW is seeking a Wastewater Process Engineer to contribute to design, optimization, and implementation of our process intensification and carbon removal systems at wastewater facilities. You will design dosing, model processes, and translate lab results into scalable field deployments.

This role requires 5–8+ years of industrial or municipal wastewater experience, strong PFD/P&ID skills, and travel ability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Chemical, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 5–8+ years in wastewater process engineering or related fields.
• Strong understanding of nutrient removal, solids handling, and pH/alkalinity control.
• Experience developing PFDs, P&IDs, site layouts, mass balances, and process unit design.
• Willingness to travel periodically to deployment sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop process flow diagrams, mass and energy balances, and dosing system designs to meet project goals.
• Coordinate with Tech and Ops to translate lab results into data-driven actions and reports.
• Collaborate with Tech team to address process issues using analyses and modeling.
• Serve as technical lead for wastewater process engagements to ensure system performance.
• Set targets for process optimization and carbon removal with Operations.
• Own documentation, training, and design input for internal and partner teams.
• Support new projects including alkalinity dosing and integration into facility systems.
• Drive customer success and align project strategy with Commercial Team.
