I-2-I Solutions, Inc. seeks a Wastewater Pre-Treatment Operations Subject Matter Expert for the National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility in Manhattan, Kansas. This senior, part-time consulting role supports a 14-person wastewater team with remote consultations and periodic on-site sessions.

The consultant will review process performance, interpret data, advise on permits, and assist with documentation and regulatory communications, including compliance and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of wastewater treatment or pre-treatment operations.
• Experience supporting complex facilities and laboratories.
• Ability to interpret data and regulatory requirements.
• Clear communication to operators, engineers, and regulators.
• Willingness to provide remote and on-site support as needed.
• Travel to Manhattan, Kansas for on-site sessions.

Responsibilities

• Review treatment-process performance and recommend improvements to dosing, operation, controls, and procedures.
• Interpret meter and lab data to determine adjustments.
• Assist with regulatory compliance and permit documentation.
• Advise on changes to wastewater-treatment regulations and standards.
• Prepare technical reports and concise meeting minutes.
• Provide remote and on-site support to the wastewater team.
• Evaluate new equipment and technologies for effectiveness and feasibility.
• Assist with design, installation, startup, and commissioning of updates.
• Track hours and report activity under the contract.
• Coordinate with USDA personnel and I-2-I Solutions project team.
