The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus two years of advanced education or training, and at least two years of journeyman-level experience. A Florida D.E.P. License is expected where applicable.

Qualifications

• Two years advanced education or equivalent training.
• Two years journeyman level experience in the trade.

Responsibilities

• Operate sewage treatment and sludge processing equipment to control flow.
• Monitor control panels, adjust valves, and record readings.
• Start/stop pumps and generators to manage wastewater processes.
• Maintain logs and supervise attendants as needed.
