Job summary

The City of Conroe Southwest Wastewater Plant is seeking a Wastewater Plant Operator to perform operation, maintenance, and repairs at the treatment facility. The role requires hands-on work with pumps, control systems, and associated equipment.

Minimum three years of municipal wastewater O&M experience, valid Texas Class B CDL within six months, and Texas Wastewater Certification are mandatory. On‑call duties may be required; lifting up to 100 lb with assistance and physical endurance are

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience in operation and maintenance of municipal wastewater treatment plant.
• Must possess a valid Texas Class B commercial driver's license within six months of hire.
• Current Texas Wastewater Certification issued by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
