Wastewater Plant Operator III
Under the supervision of a Lead Wastewater Plant Operator(s) and/or Plant Supervisor(s), the Wastewater Plant Operator III is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of wastewater facilities and related systems, including headworks, liquid streams, solids handling, odor control, structures, SCADA, and lift stations. The role involves ensuring asset condition, water quality, and safety standards are met or exceeded, and may include supervisory duties as required.
The role involves working in wastewater treatment environments, both indoors and outdoors, with physical activities including lifting, bending, and working with chemicals and machinery. The position may require work in hazardous conditions, confined spaces, and adverse weather, with appropriate PPE. Physical demands include manual dexterity, visual and auditory perception, and the ability to operate vehicles and tools.
