Job summary

Liquid Environmental Solutions is seeking a dependable Plant Operator to support wastewater treatment operations in Lakeside, CA. This hands-on role involves operating mechanical systems, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

You will conduct water quality testing, maintain logs, and work with pumps, valves, and other equipment. Strong teamwork and the ability to follow procedures are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in labor-intensive role (1+ year) preferred.
• Experience in wastewater processing or plant operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain mechanical systems including pumps, valves, fans, heat exchangers, engines, and compressors.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Conduct water quality testing and monitor treatment effectiveness.
• Complete daily logs, manifests, and compliance documentation accurately.
• Use tools such as rakes, shovels, hoses, pressure washers, cranes, and hoists.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Assist with troubleshooting and minor repairs.
