Job summary

Liquid Env Solutions of Kansas is seeking a dependable Plant Operator to support wastewater treatment operations in Kansas City, KS. This is a hands-on, on-site role working with treatment systems and mechanical equipment to protect water resources.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to lift 55+ lbs, and at least 1 year in a labor-intensive role; wastewater processing experience is preferred. Teamwork and safety-first mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to lift 55+ lbs regularly.
• At least 1 year in a labor-intensive role is required.
• 1 year of wastewater processing or plant operations is preferred.
• Strong teamwork and adherence to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain pumps, valves, fans, heat exchangers, diesel/gas engines, and compressors.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Conduct water quality testing and monitor treatment effectiveness.
• Complete logs, manifests, and compliance documentation accurately.
• Use tools such as rakes, shovels, hoses, pressure washers, cranes and hoists.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Assist with troubleshooting and minor repairs.
