Qualifications include a high school diploma, two years in wastewater operations, and a Class C license with B license within one year. Texas driver’s license required. Training and certification may be provided.

Qualifications

• Two years in wastewater collection and/or treatment plant operations.
• Must have "C" license or better in wastewater and obtain "B" license within one year; "C" license in Ground Water preferred.
• Current and valid Class C Texas Driver's License with driving record meeting City guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance at the wastewater treatment plant and lift stations.
• Learn to operate equipment, regulate chemical use, and monitor plant conditions.
• Take samples, perform quality control tests, and adjust equipment accordingly.
• Maintain logs, records, and required permit reports.
• Perform weekend checks and after-hours callouts.
