Job summary

True West Beef is seeking a Wastewater Supervisor to lead daily operations of the wastewater treatment facility and public drinking water system in Jerome, Idaho. The role reports to the Environmental Manager and supports the Wastewater Manager with equipment, biological processes, and safety compliance.

The ideal candidate will supervise lab analyses, coordinate technical data, and maintain clear communications with management.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in industrial settings.
• Experience coordinating lab analysis and data for plant operations.
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain clear records.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily sample collection and lab analysis per procedures and methods.
• Coordinate data collection, review, and interpretation to support plant ops and regulatory compliance.
• Provide timely operational updates to coworkers and management.
• Monitor SCADA/HMI, review trending, and respond to alarms.
• Coach operations staff with sound judgment and troubleshooting.
• Oversee maintenance of wastewater and water facilities for reliable operation.
• Safely operate and supervise equipment (forklift, telehandler, UTV, etc.).
• Track inventories and assist with preventative maintenance and calibration.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Develop positive working relationships across departments.
• Coordinate small projects and other duties as assigned.
