Job summary

H 2 O Innovation is seeking a Plant Manager to lead daily wastewater treatment plant operations at a Harrison County, MS facility. You will supervise operators, monitor processes, and ensure regulatory compliance to deliver reliable public works services.

The role requires an Active Class IV Wastewater Operator License, strong leadership, and a track record in safe, compliant operations. Background checks and adherence to safety standards are part of our process.

Qualifications

• Active Class IV Wastewater Operator License is required.
• Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and regulations.
• Experience with wastewater plant operations and supervision.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Leadership and communication skills.
• Organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily wastewater treatment plant operations and compliance.
• Supervise and support plant operators and assigned personnel.
• Monitor treatment processes and adjust as needed.
• Review operational and laboratory data to maintain treatment performance.
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and servicing of plant equipment.
• Maintain accurate operational, compliance, and regulatory records.
• Respond to alarms, equipment issues, and emergency situations.
• Assist with inspections, audits, and regulatory requirements.
• Train employees and enforce safety procedures and company standards.
