Job summary

H 2 O Innovation is seeking an Industrial Wastewater Mechanic to join our Harrison County, MS team. The role focuses on preventative maintenance and repairs for wastewater treatment equipment, with strong emphasis on troubleshooting pumps, motors, valves, and related plant machinery.

The candidate will inspect equipment for issues, assist with installation/modification, and coordinate with operators while prioritizing safety and adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial wastewater, plant maintenance, or a related mechanical field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of pumps, motors, valves, blowers, and wastewater equipment.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Basic electrical and controls knowledge preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on wastewater treatment equipment
• Troubleshoot pumps, motors, blowers, valves, piping, and other plant equipment
• Inspect equipment and identify mechanical issues before failures occur
• Assist with installation and modification of plant equipment and systems
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and operational issues
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders
• Coordinate with plant operators to identify and resolve equipment issues
• Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout requirements
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe condition

H 2 O is currently seeking an Industrial Wastewater Mechanic to join our team in Harrison County, MS .

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on wastewater treatment equipment
• Troubleshoot pumps, motors, blowers, valves, piping, and other plant equipment
• Inspect equipment and identify mechanical issues before failures occur
• Assist with installation and modification of plant equipment and systems
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and operational issues
