Job summary

Narragansett Bay Commission in Providence, RI, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor FP013 to lead our field maintenance team at the wastewater treatment facilities. You will supervise preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems and partner with operations management to ensure equipment availability.

The role requires a four-year degree or equivalent plus eight years in wastewater facility maintenance, with at least three years in supervision;

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent vocational program plus eight years of wastewater facility maintenance experience.
• Minimum of three years supervisory experience.
• Ability to plan and assign duties, communicate effectively, and lead skilled craftsmen.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
• Supervises staff and coordinates preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Ensures compliance with NBC policy, permits, and safety regulations.
• Manages tools inventory and work orders using Hansen CMMS.
• Assists in capital planning and vendor coordination.
