Job summary

SolveNow Inc. is seeking a Lead Mechanic to join our collaborative team in Westerly, Rhode Island. The Lead Mechanic will work with project staff to maintain equipment, manage plant operations, and supervise employees. The role includes diagnosing issues, scheduling work, and ensuring compliance with safety and maintenance protocols.

The ideal candidate will have over five years of maintenance experience, strong leadership skills, and expertise in electrical systems and mechanical troubleshooting. This position requires a valid State Driver's License.

Qualifications

• Five (5) plus years of experience in the maintenance field.
• Supervisory experience may include direct reports or overseeing major projects.
• Excellent oral and written communications, self-motivation, and strong technical problem-solving skills.
• Experience developing and working within an approved budget.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant operations equipment, laboratory, facility, and collection system.
• Help diagnose operating problems and determine effective correction procedures.
• Schedule and work with outside contractors when needed.
• Perform plant inspections to determine equipment efficiency.
