Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking an Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant Lead Operator/Site Manager for the North Clear Creek plant in Black Hawk, CO. You will oversee daily O&M activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, safety, and timely operation of treatment facilities.

Strong leadership and client communication are essential to coordinate with project management and field staff. The role requires experience supervising plant staff, familiarity with OSHA HazWOPER, and a valid Colorado wastewater

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three+ years of O&M experience at wastewater plants or similar facilities.
• Two+ years of supervising staff at such facilities.
• Ability to obtain a 40-hour OSHA HazWOPER certificate or have current certificate.
• Colorado Industrial Wastewater Treatment Operator Certification class "B" or higher.
• Excellent client relationships and communication skills; able to manage client and WSP objectives.
• Ability to work schedules beyond typical workweeks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise site staff and assign tasks and projects.
• Monitor safety and performance, provide improvement guidance.
• Audit operations and maintenance staff during rounds.
• Inspect plant processes and equipment; analyze readings and data.
• Prepare monthly reports for Project Manager.
