Job summary

Woodard & Curran is seeking a Maintenance Electrician for our Bradenton, Florida project. The Maintenance Electrician performs routine, preventive and corrective maintenance on all electrical equipment at Bradenton’s wastewater utility.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st shift, with standby on evenings, weekends and holidays as needed. Compensation ranges from $38 to $42 per hour, plus annual project and safety bonuses; a $2,500 sign‑on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience in industrial/commercial electrical systems, instrumentation and/or electronics.
• Must possess a valid Journeyman electrician license.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install and set up new equipment.
• Install conduit and wiring.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex control circuits.
• Maintain documentation of modifications, calibrations, and installations of instruments and equipment.
• Work safely following OSHA and relevant codes.
