Job summary

Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District seeks an Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor to oversee high voltage equipment, PLCs and instrument systems at a wastewater treatment plant in Cleveland Heights, OH. You will plan resources, direct maintenance work, supervise staff, and coordinate repairs to align with plant operational and financial goals while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires leadership, strong problem-solving, and the ability to communicate technically

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent apprenticeship.
• Three years of electrical and instrumentation maintenance experience beyond apprenticeship.
• Experience supervising staff is preferred.
• Wastewater experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage plant electrical and instrumentation equipment and oversee the maintenance program.
• Schedule, assign and supervise installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment including switchgear, PLCs and motors.
• Plan maintenance activities and prepare job plans, cost estimates and records.
• Lead and develop the electrical/instrumentation team and manage staff performance.
• Ensure health, safety, environmental and preventive maintenance programs are in place.
