American Contracting and Environmental Services (ACE) seeks experienced Wastewater Pipefitters for an industrial construction project in Perryman, MD. Qualifications

• Experience installing a variety of piping systems and materials.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of process equipment including tanks, pumps, conveyors, centrifuges, and belt filter presses.
• Install a variety of interior piping systems, including ductile iron, stainless steel, copper, and PVC.
• Install buried yard piping systems, including mechanical joint and sanitary sewer ductile iron pipe, reinforced concrete pipe, HDPE, and PVC.
• Install pipe appurtenances such as valves, pressure gauges, and pipe specials.
• Install pipe supports and rigging for heavy items.
• Fit threaded and welded pipe joints.
• Conduct pipe testing and repair pipe leaks as needed.
• Read and interpret construction drawings to ensure accurate installation.
• Perform basic layout and surveying tasks.
