Job summary

Inframark is seeking a Wastewater Operator to manage operation and maintenance of equipment in wastewater treatment facilities. Salary ranges from $23 to $27 per hour depending on experience; wastewater license is preferred or obtainable.

The role includes testing, process monitoring, documentation of plant performance, and responding to after-hours emergencies. Candidates must be willing to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Willingness to study required material and obtain certification.
• Knowledge of process control techniques and safe practices.
• Ability to perform routine on-site maintenance and emergency repairs.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment including valves, pumps, motors, belt presses, disinfection equipment, and vehicles.
• Performs routine testing, monitoring and basic lab analyses.
• Documents plant performance: daily flow, chemical usage and dosage.
• Responds to after-hours calls to repair equipment and electrical systems.
• Maintains clean, secure facilities and provides customer service as needed.
• Willing to work all shifts including weekends, holidays, evenings, and on-call.
