Job summary

Inframark O&M Quincy IL is seeking a Wastewater Operator to operate and maintain equipment at a wastewater treatment facility in Quincy, IL. You will perform routine testing, monitor processes and ensure compliant operation.

The salary ranges from $23 to $27 per hour, with licensing preferred or the ability to obtain. You must be willing to work all shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call emergencies; benefits include health/dental/life insurance, 401(k), PTO, sick leave, holidays and

Qualifications

• Willing to obtain water or wastewater certification.
• Knowledge of process control techniques and safe practices.
• Ability to perform on-site maintenance and emergency repairs.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment including valves, pumps, motors, and disinfect equipment.
• Conduct routine testing and monitoring of wells and unit processes.
• Document plant performance and chemical usage.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies and perform repairs.
• Maintain clean, secure facilities and provide customer service when needed.
• Willing to work all shifts including weekends and holidays and 24-hour on-call.
