Job summary

PurposeEnergy, Inc. is hiring a full-time Wastewater Operator to oversee operations at our anaerobic digester facilities located in Minster, OH. The ideal candidate will ensure the quality of treated effluent and will work closely with plant operators and management.

This role involves monitoring systems, conducting compliance audits, and ensuring adherence to permits, with a salary range of $28 - $33 per hour based on experience. A comprehensive benefits package and work attire will be provided.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio Grade II Industrial Wastewater Treatment Operator certificate preferred.
• Experience as an operator in RNG, construction, and/or industrial maintenance.
• Physical ability to work in varying conditions and lift heavy items.

Responsibilities

• Monitor plant and equipment performance.
• Conduct compliance audits and routine reporting.
• Ensure compliance with state and local permits.

Skills

Ohio Grade II Industrial Wastewater Treatment Operator certificate

Three years of relevant experience

Familiarity with mechanical and electrical systems

Experience with PLC’s, controls, and instruments

Basic computer skills

Experience coordinating with technicians

Experience using a CMMS

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Education

Ohio Wastewater Treatment Facility Operator License
