PurposeEnergy seeks a Wastewater Operator for on-site digester facilities in Ohio. You will monitor and troubleshoot plant systems to ensure treated effluent quality, working closely with plant operators, vendors, and management.
Ideal candidates hold a Grade II Industrial Wastewater Treatment Operator certificate (or higher) and have experience with pumps, piping, PLCs, CMMS, and teamwork. This is a full-time role with a comprehensive benefits package and a $30–$50 per hour compensation range.
PurposeEnergy is always looking for talented people to join our operations team at our on-site digester facilities. Our operating positions vary widely, from Wastewater Operators through Area Managers and Superintendentsand we accept applications on a rolling basis, reaching out as positions become available. This posting reflects our current Wastewater Operator opening, but we encourage candidates at all experience levels to apply.
The ideal candidate will oversee operations at our industrial food and beverage anaerobic digester pretreatment facilities, ensuring the quality of treated effluent through effective process management and decision-making.
This position involves monitoring, troubleshooting, and diagnosing plant systems, including pumps, piping, tanks, and related equipment. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, as you will work closely with plant operators, vendors, and management.
This is a flexible role that may include on-call or weekend hours. The schedule will be determined.
