Sagchip is seeking a wastewater plant operator in Michigan. The role involves operating, repairing and maintaining wastewater and water treatment equipment, with off-site travel for contractual work.

A Class B wastewater certification and related experience are preferred, with excellent customer service and confidentiality a must. We offer a flexible work environment, paid holidays, personal time off, and a 401(k) match.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5 years in wastewater/water field or related mechanical operations.
• Willing to take microbiology, math and algebra courses.
• Aptitude for operating and maintaining water treatment and wastewater equipment.
• Strong communication and diagnostic skills.
• Pass background check.

Responsabilidades

• Set up lab equipment and calibrate analytic instruments per EPA requirements.
• Record flows and readings per EPA reporting requirements.
• Perform daily lab analyses per EPA permit requirements.
• Perform biweekly lab analyses per EPA permit requirements.
• Operate and calibrate pumps, motors and associated equipment.
• Assist preventive maintenance and housekeeping of facilities.
• Travel for water and wastewater projects as needed.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain confidentiality.
