Your primary goal is to treat manufacturing effluent to meet environmental discharge standards while minimizing equipment downtime.

Key Responsibilities

  • SOP Development: Create and strictly adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain operational consistency, workplace cleanliness, preventative maintenance, and asset repair.
  • Testing & Analysis: Collect wastewater samples at various stages of production and perform routine laboratory analyses (including pH, free acid, Total Acid, and Total Suspended Solids).
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure facility discharges comply with permits and industrial pretreatment standards. Maintain accurate digital logs, chemical titration data, usage inventory, and detailed shift reports.
  • Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine preventative and corrective maintenance on treatment equipment such as valves, pumps, blowers, and piping.
  • Chemical Management: Safely handle, store, and transfer hazardous treatment chemicals. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate the reordering of reagents.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with plant production and manufacturing teams to anticipate and manage changes in wastewater characteristics based on daily production runs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
