Job summary

Darling Ingredients Inc. seeks a wastewater operator to support our production facility in Pennsylvania.

You will be responsible for operating the evaporator, plant skimmer, DAF, and other equipment, ensuring proper chemical dosing and monitoring of wastewater processes, with a focus on safety and efficiency. The role requires a High School Diploma, at least one year of experience in a rendering or production environment, and willingness to obtain a wastewater certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement is a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be willing to obtain a wastewater certificate.

Responsibilities

• Operate the evaporator.
• Operate plant skimmer.
• Manage chemical inventory and dosing in wastewater treatment.
• Perform wastewater tests as needed.
• Operate DAF and monitor flows in wastewater processes.
• Shut down or adjust equipment as required to maintain process control.
• Dump grease solids using forklift and maintain equipment.
