Job summary

Darling Ingredients is seeking a hands-on operator to support wastewater treatment processes at our Fayetteville facility. You will operate evaporators and plant skimmers, manage chemical inventories, and perform wastewater testing as needed.

The role requires at least 1 year of experience in a rendering facility or production environment, a high school diploma or GED, and a willingness to obtain a wastewater certificate.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a rendering facility or production environment.
• Willing to obtain wastewater certificate.

Responsibilities

• Proper operation of the evaporator.
• Proper operation of plant skimmer.
• Chemical inventory and addition throughout wastewater treatment processes.
• Perform wastewater tests as needed.
• Monitor MBBRs and aerators.
• Dumps a container of grease solids using a forklift.
• Assist maintenance with projects or work in the area of responsibility.
