AZZ Inc. is seeking a Wastewater Treatment Operator for its Milwaukee facility on the 2nd shift. The role focuses on protecting environmental quality, running tests, and supporting sustainability initiatives while maintaining meticulous records.

The candidate will perform basic lab testing, analyze results, and ensure adherence to safety rules. Prior wastewater experience and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Wastewater Operator certification required.
• 2–4 years of experience in wastewater or related field.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Ability to perform basic laboratory testing and apply results.
• Good record-keeping skills; comfortable with computers and data systems.

Responsibilities

• Enhances water quality and supports sustainability efforts.
• Tests water for environmental hazards and analyzes data.
• Researches pollution sources and proposes elimination strategies.
• Maintains all required environmental records and testing documentation.
• Keeps accurate test/inspection records and reports.
• Ensures safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe work environment.
• Trains staff on procedures and safety standards.
