Job summary

Weston & Sampson Services is seeking an Industrial Wastewater Treatment Operator to support contract operations for municipal and industrial clients from our Columbia or Greenville, South Carolina offices.

The ideal candidate will hold a South Carolina Physical/Chemical Wastewater Treatment Operator license, Grade D or higher, and have hands-on experience with rounds, sampling, equipment maintenance, chemical handling, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• SC Operator license, Grade D or higher, preferred.
• Hands-on experience with rounds, monitoring, sampling and maintenance.
• Knowledge of chemical handling and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate wastewater treatment systems safely per permit limits.
• Perform operator rounds, inspect equipment, and record data.
• Collect samples, run tests, and maintain compliance records.
• Monitor pH, chemical feed, and treatment processes.
• Provide after-hours support as needed.
