Inframark is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager for Wastewater Operations in Opelika, Alabama. You’ll lead a skilled maintenance team across treatment facilities and lift stations to keep critical systems reliable.

The role emphasizes planning, preventive and corrective maintenance, and safety, with CMMS usage and collaboration with plant leadership. Candidates should have 7–10 years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma (associate preferred), and strong leadership,

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate’s degree in maintenance technology preferred.
7–10 years of maintenance experience, including hands-on work with pumps, motors, and controls.
Demonstrated experience prioritizing work and leading maintenance operations.
Experience supervising maintenance teams in industrial or utility environments.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop maintenance staff to achieve high performance and safety standards.
Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
Ensure all maintenance work is completed efficiently, safely, and on schedule.
Prioritize and coordinate emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
Partner with plant leadership to improve mechanical reliability and optimize systems.
Implement and enhance maintenance programs, including CMMS/work order systems.
Allocate resources effectively and support training and development initiatives.
Contribute to performance management, including evaluations and staffing recommendations.
