Veolia North America is seeking an Operations Superintendent for the 67 MGD Springfield Regional Wastewater Treatment Facility. You will lead operators and supervisors, directing safe, cost‑effective operation in compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include supervising daily operations, coordinating maintenance with the maintenance manager, directing biosolids handling and sludge management, preparing weekly and monthly reports, and overseeing capital

Qualificações

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Massachusetts Grade 7C Wastewater Operators License is required.
• Minimum of ten (10) years working experience in a wastewater treatment facility.
• Five (5) years of experience in the role of a supervisor/manager.

Responsabilidades

• Directs the operation of the wastewater treatment process and related equipment.
• Develops and monitors KPIs and prepares weekly/monthly reports.
• Oversees biosolids storage, dewatering and sludge management.
• Directs staff and audits expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness and regulatory compliance.
• Ensures safe, compliant operations meeting contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinates maintenance and PM work with the Maintenance Manager.
• Defines needs for capital improvement projects and coordinates contractor work.
• Represents Veolia Springfield at meetings and conferences.
