Job summary

Pilgrim's Pride Corporation is seeking a Wastewater Superintendent to oversee the daily operations of the Wastewater Treatment Facility, supervise staff, maintain compliance with EPA regulations, and ensure accurate documentation.

The role requires strong leadership, safety focus, and experience with regulatory requirements; candidates should have an Associates degree or technical certification, and a Class III wastewater license or be able to obtain one within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of DIRECTLY RELATED experience preferred.
• Proven management skills in a wastewater setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Deep knowledge of state and federal EPA regulations.
• Must have or obtain a Class III Waste Water License within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Manage Wastewater Department and supervise personnel.
• Perform tests to ensure proper water treatment.
• Train staff on best practices for regulatory compliance.
• Maintain accurate records and up-to-date documentation.
• Collect and submit water samples as required by policy.
• Ensure safety rules and procedures are followed.
• Oversee cleaning and maintenance of wastewater and related departments.
