Job summary

Veolia in North America seeks a Wastewater Intern to learn daily operation and maintenance at a water/wastewater facility. This rotational program covers three Bay Area sites: Lathrop, Discovery Bay and Novato, with guidance from an experienced full-time employee.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Must be enrolled in Wastewater Operations courses.
• Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, listening, presentation and facilitation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience in a wastewater environment under guidance of a full-time employee.
• Exposure to laboratory, maintenance, and grounds-keeping tasks at a wastewater facility.
• Rotational program across multiple Bay Area sites including Lathrop, Discovery Bay and Novato.
