Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions on wastewater treatment processes.
• Operational experience with site-specific equipment.
• At least 3 years of experience in wastewater treatment plant operations or a related field.
• Prior experience in a traveling work role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operational coverage of Veolia Facilities in the region during vacations/absences, covering day and night shifts with flexible scheduling.
• Train local technicians through on-site visits and develop training materials.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, record-keeping, lab testing, operational practices, and preventive maintenance.
• Support new account start-up projects by developing operational tasks and training newly hired technicians.
• Provide troubleshooting support to local technicians and guide proactive operational decisions.
• Operate and control pumps, motors, and valves to regulate wastewater flow and treat water.
• Collect and test wastewater samples; record residuals, turbidity, and pressure data.
• Coordinate with management to optimize operations and ensure safety and compliance.
