Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a reliable Wastewater Maintenance Technician for the South Huron Valley Utility Authority in Brownstown, MI. You will read blueprints and specifications, perform repairs on wastewater treatment equipment, and maintain electrical and electro-mechanical systems.

The role requires two+ years in electrical/mechanical maintenance, a valid license, OSHA electrical qualifications, and CWEA/MWEA Level 1 certification. On-site, with on-call emergencies and travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of electrical and/or mechanical maintenance experience.
• Valid State Driver’s License with no major infractions.
• OSHA electrical qualifications.
• Level 1 CWEA/MWEA Maintenance Certification.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems and panels.
• Install new equipment and interpret wiring diagrams and codes.
• Establish and manage preventive maintenance program for plant equipment.
• Maintain maintenance records and CMMS data; generate reports.
• Travel between locations and be available for emergencies.
